I'm thinking about buying several Zerbralight H501Ws. The best price seems to be direct from Zebralight, but not if I get whacked with customs charges/import duty getting them to the USA. Has anyone ordered from them and do you know what to expect? Small orders may get through duty free, but I'm looking at getting as many as four, which would be ~$250. Unless there is a special break for flashlights, that's big enough to get somebody's attention.

Thanks!

since 4sevens didn't have the H501, i purchased it directly from ZL.

no Custom's charges were added to my order. i'm in the good ol' USofA; not sure where you are located, so i don't know if your experience will be similar to mine.

I ordered mine from goingear.com. May be cheaper than ZL now that there is a 10% coupon until the end of the month. Quicker than ordering from ZL direct for sure.

I have made 2 purchases directly from Zebra. No surcharges -- you pay what the charges are in your basket and no more. If you don't need the light for 2 or 3 weeks, that is the way to go IMO. My last order was close to $250 aas well.

I did not get charged with mine. But if you are concerened, you could order one today, one tomorow, and so fourth. But really, i dont think you have anything to worry about, customs has better things to do than tick off guys who want to play with their silly lights. :grin2:

Thanks for all of the replies. I'm a newbie, and wasn't aware of the CPF discounts given by several vendors. I checked who had what discount, their prices, and who had stock & ended up going with Flashlight Connection.
