Does anybody know how far this throws? 500 yards? 700? 1000? 1500? 2000?
I hope atleast 1500

If this is the Thor rated at 15,000,000 CP, and uses the 130 Watt bulb, then MAYBE it would hit a target at 1500 Yds but I think you would need to stand away from the light source and use binoculars to see the light hit the target. Not really usable light at that distance. The 130 Watt bulb powered from its' on-board SLA would only see about 102 Watts. You need about 14.4V to see the full 130 Watts.

A long time ago, a member NEWBY, was going to make some boost boards to do just this. Unfortunately, it never happened.

BHV, any recommendation on how to focus it to throw as far as possible? From what I see, you wind up with a very hot spot up close when the bulb is farther in the reflector, but then the beam twists down to a pinpoint about 50 feet out and starts to spread out again. As you move the bulb back in the reflector, then you wind up with a dark spot in the middle of the beam and you have a dark spot in the center where the hot spot should be.

One time, I tried focusing a light up close - on a surface between 5 and 10 feet away and what looked good from that distance, did not look good at long distances. Try using a light colored garage door at 50' away to do your focusing. Copper washers are usually thin and work good or get some shim stock. With one can be shaped easily to fit the bore and around the bulb base. In some of my lights, I, too, see a widening of the beam at some far distant point.

Probably goes without saying but be sure you're not holding the bulb/wires when you turn it on. Wait 10 or 15 seconds so you're not subjecting yourself to high voltage.
