I just got my 1x26650 from BigHonu (secondhand), but I thought I'd add my two cents to this post in case this info helps anybody:

Build quality is great. It's the most grippy flashlight I own. Integrated lip in the battery tube so the battery doesn't fall out when you change the D36 module.

O-ring on top of the glass, 1 o-ring on the bezel side of the body, 2x o-rings on the tailcap. Tailcap uses an oversized spacer to hold a standard type Surefire clicky (or in this case a McClicky).

I'm looking forward to using the SST-50 at 2.5 amps, and the XP-G R4 at 1.4 amp D36 Nailbender drop-ins when it gets dark tonight.

I'll take another please. If this host were waterproof and had a protected (i.e. tailstanding) tailcap - it would be the perfect host! For the size of the reflector this is incredibly compact.

Tailstanding tailcap woud be awesome on this ;) (my unsolicited wish list)

anyone have any beamshots of the 1x26650 with an sst-50?

Sorry, I don't have any beamshots but the D36 reflector turns the sst-50 into a much better thrower than in the floody D26 setup. I had both and I thought it was a huge difference. I put my D26 sst-50 pill into a DBS lop reflector and I thought the smooth D36 sst-50 had only slightly less throw (bigger hotspot) and much better spill. If you're looking to get the sst-50, I think the D36 setup is the best way to go.
