I'm sold on the DBS V3, but I am purchasing it as a duty light (law enforcement). I was wondering if anyone knew how durable they are? Are they built pretty strong (say if I fall on it)?

The problem with using it as a duty light is that it has a rather large head and short body which can make it cumbersome,especially in a crisis situation.You might find the Pelican 7060 easier to handle.As far as durability goes,I took my DBS V2 on over 3 doz fishing/hunting/hiking trips in northern Manitoba/N.W.T. last summer.It went through everything you could imagine and is still running fine.
