DD CREE...?

yes, and is pretty nice too, mine takes 800mA on a fresh charge and keeps it that way a good 10mins, after that it drops to about 700ma, and settles between 600 an 700 for an hour or so, wen it dims noticeably, to about 200-300mA
Very smooth transition, and i guess it could not be any more efficient
I'l do a serious plot, when i'l can...

I actually built a light this morning after my shift was done...
but I wasn`t sure about if it was hold up or not.

Took an old KL1 and took out everything in it and then redid it with a CREE and IMS 17..


This KL1 is blasting now.....

I think the L1D with a 14500 does this, so if you have decent heatsinking, it would be fine.

This is actually gonna be torn apart again and the head is going to be "definned" and polished...
So no heatsink yet, but I`ve been "bursting" it and had it on for 20-40 secs at most and no heat..
