Nice practice project for you new lathe, PVC cuts like cheese. I use it to proto up magnifiers and lens mounts before comiting to metal..

The reducer w/o modifiaction looks kinda like an E series bezel

I use my Mini light when working inside computer boxes and when I set it down it rolls to the darkest place it can find, usually under the bench. To fix this problem I bought a couple of PVC reducers, opened up the Hex end for a tight fit on the Mini and cut it off from the round part. When I use the Mini I can slip the hex piece on and when I put the Mini down it stays where it belongs. Liked it enough I made a latex mold and cast a few more out of epoxy as spares. The one setting up now is loaded with the GlowLady's green GID powder.

To get the anti-roll effect you can also take a Nite Izes Flashlight Friend accessory (that acrylic tube thing with the flexible legs) and cut the legs off.

Since the tube takes an oblong, football-like shape at either end, this stops the rolling.

The tube makes a good ergo grip too and has alot off other uses. . . .check the forum. . . .
