I recently purchased an ITP A3 EOS Upgraded and it is awesome.

Yesterday was the Orionid Meteor shower and also my friend's birthday. We went out to the cliffs over the beach and it was pitch dark so the A3 was really great. I used it mostly on High (80 Lumens supposedly) to help people out and had to switch to a Duracell Alkaline battery (I know it sucks) and kept it on High. Went I got back to my room, it was close to dead so I turned it off and went to bed and took out the battery. I woke up this morning to a the light only going from Med -> Lo with Hi not working at all. The medium and low are very weak.

Anyone help me identify the problem? I just purchased it three or four days ago. Should I send it back to GoingGear?

wait.. so you took the battery out when it was dead.

then what battery did you put in?

Haha. Yes, I've tried three of the same Duracell Alkaline AAAs. I'm pretty sure it's not the battery because the first two settings are about the same level while the high doesn't turn on at all.

No, he took out the close to dead battery and didn't put another back in but was still getting medium. Sorry Vsin, I'm actually more curious about how helping people out with 80 lumens is helping their night vision for spotting meteors. ;)

Edit: Oh yeah... :welcome:

lol. I put one in and I did not have the flash light on at all when we got to the edge of the cliff but the walk out there was pitch dark and very cliffy.
