I'm looking for any suggestions for a long distance light possibly 12volt so it can be used/charged in a vehicle or on a quad.
thanks,
Jeff

The stanley LED "Fat Max" spotlight is pretty good. 12v recharge, 700 lumens, and good throw. About 1.5 hour runtime, but... Do you drop lights? I don't know its durability.

Thanks, but i wonder what the quality is of the stanley's are? I'm not concerned about dropping it.I have a couple rechargable halogen spots including a Stanley 2M series that are poor as far as distance and beam focus go.I was looking for something of better quality as long as it's rechargable or direct cigarette lighter plug in.

+1 on the Stanley LED Fat Max. Good value for the money....$50.00. It also comes with 120vac charging adapter too.

I think you will be surprized with the XM-L Fat MAX

You could get a cigaret lighter to wall outlet adapter and carry a Pilla charger with you and extra 18650's or a NiMh charger and AA's with like a TK41??
