I am an avid Delta lantern collector and have quite a collection covering the spectrum of their existance. I have a few of the earliest single dry cell #6 lanterns and some double dry cell #6 lanterns that work. I plan to put pictures of my collection here on the forum for anyone to enjoy. I have many spare parts for the most common "Powerlite" model. I hope to share my pictures soon.

I just looked up those lanterns on Google and they look pretty cool! I look forward to seeing your collection, and, may I say,

:welcome:.

Hey Flybreeze. I have been buying any old flashlights or lanterns that I have come across at garage sales, flea markets, thrift stores, etc. for the last 20 years or so.

I have quite a few of these quality Delta lantern's including the Poweray, Powerlite, the gray USN flashlight, and others not even shown on the Flashlight Museum site. I am looking forward to your pictures, maybe to help identify some of these lanterns, and I am sure they will be appreciated by all here on CPF.

I think all of these old vintage lights are great collectables. Fortunately a couple regional vintage flashlight companies manufactured lights nearby me many years ago.

I came across a mint condition "Niagara Junior Guide" lantern that is one of my favorites. These were produced in Niagara Falls, NY which is only about an hour drive from my home in Rochester, NY.

And right here in Rochester we had the "Star Headlight and Lantern Company". Here is a lantern that I have found locally

Hi flybreeze, I bought a delta powerlite lantern and it has the plastic top and front and was wondering if you had any of those extra parts for sale. Thanks, Laurie
