the reason I ask is their web site states:
Battery type: 1S, 3SD->single protected or unprotected 18650(not recommended, lower output than multi-batteries); 1SM, 3SM-> one protected or unprotected 18650, 2xCR123A, 2x protected RCR123; 3xCR123A, 3xprotected RCR123 with EXT500 extension tube; 2xprotected 18650 with EXT650 extension tube.
The "lower output than multi-batteries" seems to indicate that if I wanted max output, I should go with the modules that take 2 rcr123's or 2 18650's. I know my tiablo A9 is brighter with 2 rcr123's compared with one 18650. The wording of the specs is pretty confusing and I'm wondering if anyone knows for sure what the case is.
