i throw my xp-g in a toaster to heat it and then use a needle to stick the dome off it since it was half torn, then i use zippo lighter fluid to clean off tiny remainder bits and in the process of it the phosphor came off == now left with a blue led, what glue can i use to make a bump on the led can i just leave it like that please advice.

Nothing new, Ive had the same happen with a SST-90 I managed to maul. I did solder some fine wire to the die to replace the broken bondwires, and the LED worked for a bit, but after I added the replacement wire to the 2nd side of the die, it stopped working :-/

Norland 61 could be used, though it would yellow with high temperatures so I wouldnt drive the XPG at much more then a few hundred mA.

I don't think any plastic can hold up to the heat without yellowing or cracking, it's why they use silicone. I suppose if you can find a fairly clear silicone it would work but optically clear silicone is tough to come by.
