diffuser lenses for the Surefire P and G series?

I have a Surefire 6P with a P61 lamp, and a 9P with a P91 lamp, as well as a couple of G2s. The 6P wears a Surefire diffuser. While the beam thru the diffuser is great as a work light, and the plain beam is great for a spotlight, I want something between the two.

I've done a bit of searching but haven't found much on diffuser lenses. I thought of getting some spare pyrex lenses and etching them by trial and error to get the beam I like, but of course I learned that HF won't etch pyrex. What options are available for the P and G bodies?
