Wanted to try this, but i could'nt see myself standing there like a Jigger for 20 min. So i made a contraption of an old eggtimer and some string :D
20 min is 1/3'rd rev of the timer and the diameter of a circle is 3,14(Pi) times the diameter so in essens i need something with the diameter of the length of the fade.
For me 3cm.

So if I'm reading you correctly, the point of the 20 min dip process is to get that fade effect?
Whereas it wouldn't normally be required for the light to be all one colour ?

Can you recommend a good thread teaching me how to anodize ?

I've used the electrolysis process to remove stuff before, like take rust of lantern parts, but have yet to put stuff on something.
