Disassembling the Mag2/3D for Hotlips installation

I'm going to attempt my first mod - putting a hotlips + LIII in a Mag3D. I've pulled the bezel off the mag, and pulled out the stock bulb, but now what? I'm kind of stumped, and I don't want to just start pulling stuff out willy-nilly.

I searched here but didn't find much, does anyone have any pointers to the process of swapping in the hotlips? I would guess I'm looking to find the + & - leads that go to the bulb but where are they? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

the hotlips were designed so the mag doesn't need any dissasembly at all.

one way to do it, is to carefully break the glass out of the stock mag bulb, and solder wires onto it, then feed them throught the hotlips holes, and solder them onto the led.

or, a better way to do it (requries more work) is to take out the switch, and solder the wires directly onto it.
to take the switch out, you remove the rubber button, and use an allen wrench to unscrew it, then it sides down the bottom of the mag.
