Please disregard. Picked up the Mil Spec head here on CPF.
OLD: The son of a friend of my brother-in law is heading to Iraq. He's a Sergeant and will ride shotgun in convoys transporting troops from Kuwait to Bagdad. This is a somewhat frequent question but I thought my specific description of his mission would help narrow down a selection of appropriate lights. My first thought was the SF Kroma Milspec (which I have not followed closely and have learned is probably months out). I see there's a PK special Mil spec on sale here but its a little steep for their budget. Since he will sell the head only, I've asked this of the seller - will the Kroma Mil spec head fit and operate on a U2 body? Does anyone have another proto that isn't a PK special? Lastly, open to suggestions for alternatives. 123 cell lights are ok.
