Well I've had an Arc-AAA for about 1 1/2 years. I won't go back that far, but in the last 4 months I've taken mine to the Grand Canyon, Zion, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Grand Escalante NP and some caves and campgrounds in Virginia and W. Va. It's also been to London about a year ago.

If you look real close there is a loop of gold cord near my right front pocket. The arc is on the end cliped to a belt loop. Oh, if anybody cares the background is Zion Nat'l Park. The Trail is Angels Landing, but should be called Death Grip Trail, because thats what your doing to that chain when there is an 800 ft drop a foot to your left.

My AAA LE is on my keyring protected with a nice thin layer of shrink tubing. To this day its still scratch free.

Good idea for the shrink tubing, I may have to try that. I just got my first Arc AAA last week, and after trying it out it immediately replaced my Mag Solitaire as my keychain light. My black Solitaire I had on my key ring for several years was mostly silver from several years of use. Then again, maybe I'll just leave it "unwrapped" since the wear seems to give it a bit of character.
