I really like the new Fraen LP optics. Coupled with a HD they have such a nice beam.
I just modded a KL3 to pump out 1A to a TWAK Lux III and put a Fraen LP in place of the NX-05. I love this combo! It does get a bit warm, and the KL3 is a hefty head, so I don't think going much over 700mA on a KL1 would be a very good idea.
For those that like the KL4, the Fraen LP with a good, bright Lux III beats it hands down IMO, although without the sidespill (which isn't needed so much with all the light reflecting off of everything else).
I'm really thinking about picking up a KL1 to add my last TWAK to at 700mA with the Fraen LP. I think this would be a really sweet EDC.
