Does KR1 lengthen G2?

I am looking at picking up a G2 and a KR1 rechargable conversion kit, It looks like the battery pack in the kit is long than 2 123A's and there is a spacer in the kit. Does this kit lengthen the G2 and also what about run times and brightness? Any one have this set up for bothe the 65 and 120 lumen lamps and could they tell me more about it than I can find on SureFire's Website.

The G2R is 6.9" long
The G2 is 4.9" long

The B65 NiCads reduce the runtime on the P60 and P61.
(and output on the P61 because the B65 just isn't powerful enough)

SureFire Rates the G2R with P60 as 65Lu for 35mins
