Forward clicky: you get momentary, and can only tap trough the modes from off, using the momentary. Once on, you have to fully click the light off to tap the button to change modes.
Reverse clicky: No momentary mode. But once on, you can tap the button to skip modes.
The liteflux lf2xt got a electronic switch. You get momentary on, and a double tap changes modes. You program all the modes you need, so choose from anything from 1 mode to 6 modes. A doubletap + hold the button gives momentary strobe aslong as you hold the button. You can even program the frequency of the strobe on this one :) It does everything. Even messure the voltage of your battery and blinks the V in a morse. :)
The univex is nice because you really have to click fast to make it change modes. Really nice if you want lots of light everytime you use momentary. Need to click really fast for this one to skip down the modes, so it usually stays in high mode when playing with the momentary. wont change modes unless you really want it to.
