dorcy 2xCR123 K2 any experience?

i saw one of these today at ****s sporting good store. and it looks nice, claims 120 lumens, and its body is between e2e/6p size and the reflector is about 2 inches across. does anyone own one? id like to know more about it.

If its the silver one with a bunch of "black rubber things" all over it... I have one and like it. Some others posted on here a while back that they didn't like it because the LED was slightly off-centered and the tint wasn't all that good. I just opened mine up and recentered the LED, now the hotspot is great and the tint is ok, just slightly green.

I saw a Dorcy K2 in Target ... powered by 6 AAA batteries. I think it was $39.99 or so.

Not my choice of power supply ... but I'm interested in how it performs, all by itself and compared with the 2 x CR123 model. :thinking:

Found out today that the Dorcy 2x123 is $39.99....not $19.99 like someone on another forum posted. Looking at it up close...not something I would want to drop 40 bucks on.

That Wolf-eyes-looking-one is interesting (3x123) Not something I'd expect from Dorcy.
