My local True Value agreed to special order one for me and it came in yesterday. The price was $14.99 plus tax. They didn't honor my request for a silver one, so now I'm known as the Man With the Golden Flashlight.

It's a good light for the money, but not the screaming bargain that the 1AAA model is at Wal-Mart.

Brightness is higher than an Arc AA but less than an Opalec NewBeam. The beam of the one I have does not seem excessively blue as others have reported.

I checked my local True Value on Saturday and they had ALL of the new Dorcy LEDs and even had single packs of the Dorcy SPYDER. I grabbed a 1AA and a Spyder. (Already nabbed a 1AAA at Wally World for nearly half the price.)

Prices at my True Value are as follows:
1AAA $9.99
1AA $14.99
2AA $19.99
2C $29.99
Spyer $24.99

Don't know if these prices are consistent from region to region, but the 1AA price seems to be consistent with other posts I've seen here... so this should give people some ballpark figures of pricing.
