Is it possible to modify the Downboy 700 so that when it reaches it's lower threshoold, it cuts out, instead of going to DD mode? If so, then the DB700 could be used as a driver board for Li-Ion cells, and would cut out when battery threshold is reached, instead of trying to further drain and damage cells.
