Driver for Romisen N3

My niece (4 yr) put batteries with reversed polarity in my N3. Now it works only with r123 batteries but with 2xAA it gives only very little light on led. I believe that driver is dead. So my Q is what driver to use and where to buy it? Maybe other suggestion for mod?

I don't think you can buy one because original RC-N3 driver has only 15mm which is 2mm less than usual.
