Could someone take a scan at my pics of driver wiring and tell me if it's done right to get about 2.8A I couldn't find a picture of the same set up on the forum.

I originally had the shining beam driver but my I had to replace the P7 LED and when removing the heatsinks off the driver it destroyed it.

I know the soldering is pants but it needs redoing when i've re made my heatsinks.

Sorry about the second image they are both resized to 640x480 so not sure whats happened

Thanks

Jez

That soldering is better than mine BUT i'll criticize your use of the same colour wire , one could make it easy and use a bit of black colour to identify negative!

Ps- here too , by the way i am not American , and you just might be so i'll add that i have no trouble with colour unlike other places , a example would be next time one see's Oprah on TV wearing a black dress ask yourself this , Which is Black AND Which is Brown?

Thanks for the replies.

I'm going to un-make all my joints and open up the holes through the sandwich boards and make sure they are joined together properly with links.

I know the colours of the wires could be better so i'll mark them with marker pen for future reference.

Think I'm going to order some more SB drivers and the other one was perfect coz I'm still not sure if the diodes on both sides should be link soldered to the centre point as only one of the boards is (first pic)

Thanks again for looking

Jez
