dry threads

i just bought an ld20 an the threads seem dry, the o=rings look lubed

do i need to lube the threads?

Yes if the threads are dry lube them.

Just clean everything with some alcohol and lube.

I would not. Way too thin and will attract dirt readily. Try to get some good lube. I like Nyogel 760G.
