Aside from Surefire, are there other fairly bright, around 100 lumen LED flashlights that are durable (shock resistant, long life, water resistant), but less thant $50?

:confused::confused::confused:

Also consider the Inova lineup.... They might not use the latest/best LED generation, but they are definitely durable and many are very nicely priced.

Streamlight also has a good reputation - some models ( PolyPro ) are popular for industrial use - but most of the PolyPro are a bit less throw on paper than you want - they also have some other ones that are nylon and resistant to water.

Another Fenix recommendation. I have dropped mine on concrete, asphalt and ceramic tile - Not only do they continue to work, but you can't even see any evidence of them having been dropped. They are VERY rugged lights.

I have a Fenix, and they seem good.

For another light, should I go Wolf-Eyes 6MAX, or the Surefire 6PL/G2L?:confused:

yeah surefire is an option as well
how are the incandescents?

I will second the Inova line, tough as nails, I have beat the H*** out of mine and they come back asking for more.
