Just got this light in the mail today and for around 10 bucks, I think it may be a real winner. Sturdy rubber and plastic, good tint and around 40-50 lumens I'd guess. although it's difficult to gauge. Has some sort of aspheric in it so it has a large smooth hotspot. Seems like it'll be great around the house. I'll try and post a pic or two later.

I've personally gotten very poor results from nearly every Duracell branded flashlight. Hopefully the Q.C. has gotten better. Please keep us updated regarding this light.

I bought it from amazon for 10.99, its selling for around 8.50 at the moment, and I saw it down at 6.99 yesterday.

As far as quality control, I guess time will tell. One potential issue I could see arrising is that the shape of the light and the shape of the battery carrier inside are different so there is some empty space within the light. The battery carrier sits in some tracks so it doesn't rattle, but I could see something coming lose with enough shaking. I've tried shaking it a good amount though with no issues.

EDIT: actually I don't think the batteries can pop out bc they added some extra ridges to hold them in place, kinda hard to explain. However, there is a bit of rattling.

I may be off about the lumens because the optics really helps maximize what this lights gets out of its lumens, but I think it is a good amount of brightness.

That's different than the duracell daylite I've seen, I own the AA and it says 80 lumens on the package. There's a 2D cell version says 160 lumens. Both have tail cap clickies and are orange and black in color.

this is the "tough" version. It's not comparable from what I've heard to the others, but its still a nice light, especially for the price.
