I just bought a AA 4 pack of what appear to be genuine duraloop rebadged eneloops at Target. The date code is printed on the cardboard interior sheet and is 0A19J1 which I guess means Jan 19, 2010. The code on the battery itself is 9K04-0A (November 4, 2009 ?) . All shapes appear correct (squarish button like my other duraloops, flat - base correct, white top). Made in Japan printed on package along with copyright 2009. I thought that Duracell had discontinued the genuine duraloop and were just selling the ROV type hybrid with the black top. I haven't run a discharge on my c9000 yet but the voltage reads 1.35v on my multimeter - originally thought maybe it was real old stock. By the way, not a bad price at $11.49/4 pk.
Are Duraloops alive and well ?

I'm the one who said in the other thread that I have not seen white tops dated newer then 07. I went into ToysRus today because of that threat and a ton of white tops were in stock, and no black tops. So it would appear the latest boatload into Duracell came from Japan :twothumbs However, at toysRus 4 batteries are $13.99 plus tax As I recall Thomas has Eneloops for $10 plus shipping
