For their sake, I hope they had insurance. If insurance covers it, then they've been set free from owning a crappy car!I still feel sorry for that Hyundai owner.
Wasted his money on a crappy car.... and now it's getting burned!
Made me instantly recall the true story of an individual who secured a major loan from the bank. I think it was to revitalize his failing business. He ended up taking the loan in the form of cash. Needed a safe and secure way hide it in his home. He hid it in the oven. His wife was a lazy cook, and according to him; never used the oven. They ate out or ate sandwiches. Or, used Chef Mike (the microwave) all the time. So he decided it would be a great hiding spot until later in the day when he could tell her about the loan. He left, she came home.... and for some bizarre reason decided to actually cook that night. So without looking inside, she turned on the oven to pre-heat it.I store my lithium batteries in my oven when they're not being used. Don't worry, the circuit breaker's turned off on it and anyone who would be using my kitchen knows to empty the oven first.
Oh, and now there's a ship too
Maybe I was hasty and it's a chemical issue, not batteries, let's wait until the end of the investigation
*Unconfirmed reports on China Central Television (CCTV) cited manifests showing the vessel had lithium-ion batteries and a chemical compound (Butyl peroxbenzoate) as its cargo. The chemical requires temperatures below 86 degrees F and media reports cite an ongoing heatwave in China*
*A ship carrying 800 tonnes of Li-Ion batteries*
