E2D Reflector*update w/pics*

How is the E2D reflector attached? i was able to remove the bezel but I want to remove the reflector?

That I'm aware of, the E2d, like the E2e features a bezel with integral reflector - that is the reflector surface is applied to the inside face of the bezel and as such it is not possible to 'remove it'.

I suppose you could turn down the ID and fit in a MC reflector.

Yes, using a Uni-Bit will allow you to open it up to the desired size and an McR20 will fit. I've done it. Only problem is, making a light engine that will fit..

I was trying to save the reflector but it was damaged in the process. here's a couple of not so good pics:shakehead

This E2d was pretty banged up. i'm the third owner of it. I was trying to remove the ano and I did.The thing is I thought I masked the reflector pretty good but guess I didn't. Th Easy Off wiped out about a quarter of the reflector.:mecry:
