E2DL and Rechargeables?

Hi everyone, first post here. I'm about to pick up two E2DLs.
One for EDC, and another for my AR. Anyways my question is, is the E2DL okay to use with rechareable CR123 batteries? I've been using them for my 6P with a CREE Q5 drop in module.

Anyone have insight or experience with this? Whats the max voltage for the head on the E2DL?

They Suggest that you do not use rechargables, but i have been useing them for six mounths and they work for me :thumbsup:

What Henry said. I've only had mine for 3 months, but thus far no issues. Theirs several post's on this issue. I made up my mind to purchase one after researching other's trials.
