E2e confirm?

Could someone just confirm that if I were to buy the latest version of the E2e it comes with a 'toothed' bezel so you can see if it is left on when bezel down...AND...that the o-ring leaking out problem has been solved?

i got my E2e two weeks ago here from germany and got the new bezel design. serial no is A01754 (E2e)

I got an E2E two days ago and it has the toothy bezel. Serial is: A16839.

Thanks one and all, I guess I'll have to wait and see what I get!! Yeah, doug I'd be interested in how much you paid too...Niton doesn't list the E2e. Did you get it there or Heinnie Haynes OR some where I don't know of that might be worth a look!!?

As far as I know, Edgars won`t sell to the general public, only dealers and members of the emergency services - Doug`s a paramedic if I remember rightly. There is a discount offered to them too.

Personally I think SureFire needs another Official UK Distributor who will sell to the public, at least at reccomended retail prices if not a little less (as many do in the US). Having to go from SF through Edgars and a high-street dealer means the prices for Surefire lights bought in this country are just foolish. Trying to get the very latest models or obscure spare parts becomes hard too because the dealers won`t carry them.

I bought my Original E2 for not much short of £100 (Heinnies) which is quite mad, though on reflection it was definately worth it! That E2 has seen so much use since then, that the tail cap button cover has worn smooth.....

Edgar Bros do have their uses but I agree that a more retail orientated (flexible perhaps) Distributer should be allowed to handle the public side.

I have the same problem getting hold of 5.11's as Edgar Bros have the Distributer Contract in the UK but don't sell them to the public.

Sorry,I have given you the wrong price! It's £44:00 for the KL1 bezel and £67:00 for the E2e both inclusive of VAT and both not including shipping!

Remember that even though I got it wrong both of these prices are still fantastic deals on SF products. It is a pity that the general public doesn't get an opportunity to purchase at these prices?

Although I'm bound to be biased I have nothing but praise for Edgar-Brothers. The service is personal and very good. Unfortunately they cannot obtain new Surefire products very quickly from the States and there is always a period of backordering. However,they are also UK distributors for Streamlight and Blackhawk products and again they have saved me loads by enabling me to purchase from within the UK.

Hope no one is too mad at me for the original gaff over the price?
