If this need to be moved, I guess it answers part of my question. I just got an E2e and the KL4 head from Dan at TW and am impressed BUT using surefire goodies with this base what is the lumen king that can be assembled? I see the M2 millenium but due to being a newbie I dont yet know the wills and won'ts of surefires. I see the turbo heads but they dont seem to have really more lumens as much as a more focused beam.I took way too much of Dans time for my first buy at TW and am hoping to get some helpful advice here. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif Thanks.

Stock the E2e can only be set up a few ways with the stock bezel, you can use the MN03 60 lumen lamp MN02 25 L lamp or there are two led heads the KL4 65 L and KL1 20 Lumens. Now there are some Mods available one is the E2C adaptor which would allow the use of all the P, C, and D series accessories like turbo heads. Then there are also cell extenders so you can use 9 or 12 volt lamps or use AA batteries. I am sure I missed something but that is all I can think of for now. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Stock, I think you are near the limit already 60-65 Lumens.

The E2e isn't compatible with the larger SF parts like the M2 head or the Turboheads [but being small is what the E2e is all about].

Some people have Modded the E2e to accept a P61 Lamp, that would about double the Lumen output.

I was hoping to find out for example will the M2 bezel fit on the E2e body without modding? I dont want to get into machining or changing boards to obtain the highest lumen output but swaps that are reversible

You would need something like the E2C adaptor that jtivat mentioned. It is not a Surefire part, but it would be reversible.

I suspect by the time you buy the adaptor and bezel you wouldn't be far from the cost of just buying another light.

I realized the extra parts cost more than the base model did and figured to get a three cell body and a one cell body just for flexibility and have some to play with and one for edc of sorts. I'll need spare heads any way to try mods on if I go that direction but all the info I have gotten already has helped me learn a lot more than before the post and I thank all of you.I happen to be a knife collector that has tried to get every variation of one specific knife model. I currently have 60 of them. Do you seen a pattern here?
