E2e Upgrading

I have a few E2e's I bought back in 2000 from Surefire that I'd like to give a bit of a performance bump to. 14 years ago 60 Lumens was awesome, now... a little less so. That incandescent is looking awful yellow as well. I saw a review for the E to C Adapter from Overready and I'm intrigued at the potential bump in options. But as I roam over the various options I realize that while I love flashlights, and especially SUREFIRES the entirety of options, restrictions, parameters I find myself flung through the rabbit hole here.

Can anyone point me in the direction of all the necessary upgrades to effectively use the E-C Adapter? Or is there a better option? I know Malkoff makes a straight bulb conversion that kicks out 325 Lumens. Thats fairly cost effective, but admittedly less fun that a well planned mod. If I go with the E-C Adapter I need a C head, bulb, bezel, and it appears some of the options then require new tailcaps as well.

Thanks for your input and direction.

If you're willing to give up the stock head, there are even more options.

The E2C

Requires a bezel to fit onto the front. All of these work:

You can also order one of these heads, with an E ring built in (see Compatibility):

From small to large, it goes stock/moddoolar/E2C, but E2C also gives the most options/flexibility

You could also look at the Malkoff E2 heads. They are offered in single and multiple output versions, as well as cool tint and neutral tint.

VME bezel is a really simple way to upgrade to the wide selection of Malkoffs ....

Also, if you'd consider (higher output) incandescent options, don't forget Lumens Factory aftermarket E-series lamps that go up to about 150 lumens (on 2x Li-Ion) power :)

And then, of course, there is this ...
