5 came from Hong Kong today....for a buck I can't complain, but if anyone knows how to get the lanyard through that tiny hole, I'm all eyes...guess I'll try a thread....:)

'tis like passing a camel through the eye of a needle :)

Great news , the four cheapie $1 AA torches have now gone to new homes ... I am able to get other replacements now , as my Wife was pleased that three Grandchildren and the Son-in-Law were very happy to have such neat little torches ... I even put Duracells in the torches.

When you lose four torches like that , you just need to replace them with something new ... My Wife was even happier when (later) I told her the price ... I hope that she thinks that all my torches are that price.

I let these torches go , as I much prefer the Single AAA MXDL torches that are only a bit more expensive ... I have five of these and will try to hang onto them ... That depends on whether the five year old boy discovers where I've put them ... He is like Sherlock Holmes when it comes to finding things that he isn't supposed to find.

Sol-Leks had a link for a light on another thread last night,it is sold in the UK under the Rolson Tools logo.I bought one for a £1,a single AA cell. I bought mine in one of the £1 shops, comes complete with a cheap HK battery.

How bout getting a 3mm and drill it through. Not sure if it will leave a clean mark though:oops:

Friend has used one of these at work for a time of "several alkaline AA´s".
He was pleased, suits his needs for a small peek in a dark. :)

Only 2 left for giveaways

Maybe 10 more would be a good idea.
