EDC big lights

Candle Power Forums

Help Support Candle Power:

Lots of us carry 6P size lights. Surefire calls the 6P 5.2 oz I'm sure a Malkoff dropin adds quite a bit to that number.

That's my everyday carry anyway!

I carry a 6P, and I occasionally get somebody asking if that is a flashlight in my pocket or...... :D

My TN11 goes everywhere I go, pocket in cargo pants or back pocket.... Even with the other lights I carry, I gotta have this with me.

My NITECORE TM11 goes with me almost everywhere. I'm visually impaired and in darker places I simply tailstand it as a room light.:candle:

At work I carry a 2 or 3D maglite mod on the dorky maglite belt ring (I'm a supervisor at UPS but I have to look for stuck packages in converyor belts too). It's ok though, I have a reputation for being a little extravagant. I also use an electric cigarette with two stacked 18350 IMRs for high voltage vaping that looks like a tiny stainless steel bat. On my keychain though, which really is my EDC (goes with me everywhere) I have a led lenser P3.

I front pocket carry lights as big as a Surefire C3 or Armytek Predator regularly.

I carry either an E2L with VME or an MD2 every day (and night). I don't consider them big at all.

Grizz

I like to EDC either my Surefire 6P HA III or Armytek Predator XP-G2.

I carried a 4sevens turbo X 2x123 for over a year and now I have smarted up and retired the 1.8 inch head to my bead side. I have a very distinct wear pattern in almost all my jeans! Yeah you can carry a 7 oz light everywhere you go but it is a pain in the butt.

I EDC'd a Mag 6D for a while, but it was a bit excessive so I switched to a more reasonable 4D!

Seriously, I've been carrying a 6P w/M61 this week in a holster, but it's a little large for me so I think I'll go back to my E1B.

I almost always have a 2-cell in my EDC pack - two, at the moment. A SF G2Z w/ Malkoff M61WL and a G2 w/ Malkoff M61LL.

Which might be considered a bit excessive, I realize, but I also spend a lot of time walking and/or on public transit, so I like having a primary/secondary combo.

I usually pack my RRT3 SST-50 in my rucksack day to day
