As a matter of course, either a Madmax Mini, or an Opalec Mini ride in a stock (repaired with safety wire) M*g holster.

I occasionally try other stuff. Yesterday I carried my PM6 in the holster it came with. The one time I needed light, that much light was a good thing (two old dudes trying to plug in a vending machine). BUT, the holster design on the PM6 gigs me in the spare tire. I am ALWAYS aware it's there.

Any generic AA light with a pushbutton on the body has the same issue. I think it is more holster fit than the light itself.

But carrying the mini(s) is just too easy.

Of course there is an ARC AAA on my person as well...

But can anyone actually recommend a holster for G2-PM6 that hangs just a bit lower?

Try the $5.00 holster from Countrycomm.com. It mounts in the traditional way (hanging down or can be worn parallel to the belt, I find that the horizontal position is very comfortable.

Here are some pictures of the holster.

Roy,
I think it's countycomm.com. I got the holster to go with the inova 5t and it got shifted immediately to the e2e. I tried it with the L4 and it fits although the light is about a half inch longer than the e2e. This holster is a great value because it can be used with so many lights/multitools/whatever. And your point about horizontal carry to miss the love handles is also true /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mecry.gif

RATS!

Upright carry next to my cell phone is the way I carry. It appears that this County Comm holster will still gig me in that carry....

Cell on the right and Pager on the left take up valuable real estate on my belt.
