Saw your thread in watches forum. Is it easy to change out the battery? Would have to be, I would think, what with all that photon power.

No, it's not -- the instructions say to send it to their repair center, or take it to a Swiss Army authorized repair center, which I am now trying to find in my area.
It looks like you'd need a special tool to remove the back of the watch, and I don't want to mess with it and break it.
The manual (which I don't have in front of me right now) says the light runs off 2 lithium batteries, I forget the model #, and the watch runs off a separate battery.
That is a downside -- the risk of the battery dying and having to wait to replace it. I'm waiting to see how long the battery lasts, and I'd like to have spares that I can put in myself. Maybe I'll go to a repair center and explain the need for in the field replacement & ask them to show me how to do it.
