I read the output and runtime data sheets for the Rebel Eigers, but I'm interested in reading reports from owners of a Peak Eiger with the new XP-G emitter.
How is the tint on the XP-G version? I want to avoid a green tint.
If you have both Rebel and XP-G version Eigers how do the tint and brightness compare with each other?
I want a medium optic AAA flashlight with runtime of about 4 hours (to 50% brightness) and an overall output of 40 to 50 lumens. I will power the light using either Energizer E2 lithium primary batteries or NiMH rechargeables.
The Rebel version doesn't look up to task. Could a #6 XP-G Eiger with 2xAA battery tube provide this 40 to 50 lumens for 4 hours? With a 1xAA battery tube?
Thanks.
