Elly, L1P, 602A1 RT's. All single cell AA Torches

Been meaning to do this for a while.

A comparison of three single AA cell torches.

The Ultrafire 602A1 is one of the best quality models, not the earlier nor the later lower output ones.

The Fenix L1P, again, from my three of the best ones, pretty much all the same figures.

The Elly, as supplied by Dealextreme, no mods on this one.

As you can see, it gives the L1P a pretty good run for it's money.


As usual, lightmeter reading are EV's (Exposure Values) with a reading of 8 being what I consider minimum useful illumination level

Horizontal X axis in 30 minute grads.

Batteries used, and rotated, are Sony 2,000 mah nimh's.

I predict that I will do Elly RT's for all three, standard, Cree, SSC when they arrive next week!!
