eneloop AAA's on ebay real or fake

I bought 12 of THESE and a charger. All seem totally genuine and haven't lost any charge (2 weeks). Are they similar to what you have seen ?

Don't know about those but HK certainly does buy very cheap. I've never had a problem buying from HK apart from occasional long delivery times.

its hard to say if they are real or fake, who knows what your getting, its a long shot but email the seller asking if they are real or copies, and maybe ask for UPC codes or batch numbers that you can compare with the stuff in the US currently

Packaging can vary from region to region, so what you might get from Hong Kong may differ a bit from what you might get in packaging destined for the Americas regions. That being said, the pricing is about the same (actually a bit more) than what we would pay for 4AAA Eneloops in the US at a retail store.

i see eneloop AAA's on ebay at very low pricing

most of them seem to come from hongkong.

also packaging seems to be different than normal(blue hardcase)

anybody have experience with these?

Hello Brighteyez,

Yes, I also was wondering about the packaging.

I believe the whole Eneloop process has something to do with "thinking Gaia." As I understood this, it meant that they put a lot of thought into the packaging as well. The packaging was designed to be a battery holder too. This would eliminate some waste.

I think it would be very unusual to find Eneloop cells in a blister pack...

i am talking about the ones packed in a carton blister like this one

They appear to be the same as those offered by Sanyo in Hong Kong gravityz:

If the seller's feedback doesn't reveal any cause for concern, you should be okay.

If you are are considering other purchases from this seller to combine shipping, I would avoid the four place charger though, it only has two channels:

Here are its basic specifications:

Conversely, if you can use a USB charger, this seller is offering a good one for a not unreasonable price, especially considering it includes a couple of eneloops:

Hello Bones,

Yes, I saw that.

The MQN05 charger has the specifications on the instruction sheet and they are listed on the charger itself.

Sorry Silverfox, I should have said the Product Feature list.

It includes the protection features and actual charging controls for the Eneloop USB charger.

I have yet to find anywhere near the same level of detail for the Eneloop MQN05 charger.

I've recently purchased eneloops from Battery Bob's website. After shopping around, I've been pleased with their prices and service. Many items, including the batteries I bought came with free shipping.

FYI

It sure would be nice to see this packaging either in the stores with a new manufacturing date or the '06 versions clearanced at 1/2 price as Circuit City did recently with the 2AAs....:takeit:

That packaging from HK looks very similar to the ones we get here in Australia, so I'd say its genuine. I bought some Eneloops last week for 3 of my LED torches and it was identical to the one you listed on the Ebay site.
