I was thinking of getting this charger and eneloopsAAs . Didnt know if this was a good set up or better off only charging 4 batteries with the maha c-9000?

It would work fine. Unless you need to charge C and D cells also, it'd be a bit cheaper to get an 800S, or 801D though. Same charging algorithm and quality, at a significantly lower cost, but limited to charging AAA and AA cells.

I just mentioned in another thread, I've often considered purchasing an 808M. I can't really justify it though.
EDIT: I just realized the other thread was one started by you as well!

I have this setup, and highly recommend it.
The eneloops are the best AA rechargeables I've found.
The 808M is great, because:
*The channels are all independent.
*There are 8 of them.
*You can do AAA/AA/C/D cells in each bay.
*Condition Cycle
*Soft charge option (really only needed for AA and AAA).

In my opinion, if you are going to have rechargeable NiMH AA and D cells, as I have, then the 808M is well worth the spend.
You don't really need the C9000 if you have the 808M.
I have both, and I enjoy the extra functionality of the C9000 (breakin mode, measuring the capacity of AA/AAA cells), but it's not vital -- I'd get by just fine with only the 808M.
You have the option of a conditioning cycle as well as a soft charge option for AAA and AA cells.
