energizer chvc2eu charger not working

my energizer value charger chvc2eu is not working... it had only charged t5 or 6 times and now all the led's are turned off .. i suspect its transformers primary coil is notworking.. i have posted a video about it link is given below.. plz uggest what to do ... does its transformer needs to be entirely replaced and by which transformer or what r its specs...? or it can be rewinded , if yes then should its primary be rewound only or both...

I would bin it and buy another better one, do you really want to risk burning down you house for a cheapy charger?

sounds fortuitous. trash it and buy a GOOD (read: non-energizer) SMART charger.

bu i m not so fortunate to buy any good charger because here in pakistan i am unable to find any smart charger... only dumb chargers are available here... and i bought two energizer value chargers from different locations , both stoped working after just 5 ir 6 charges...

you have internet access, order a good charger online instead of buying a junk one locally.

If your chargers fail so quickly you probably have electric power problems. You may want to investigate some kind of power conditioner to protect them.

one charger stopped working while it was in my use.. another one was in my rlatives use and that too failed ... all of my electric connections and circuits are perfect... i naver had any issue with any device before ... routers,modems,security cams,computers,monitors,lcd,printers,scanners,mobiles....evry thing is fine ...its absurd in view of the nature of the problem in the charger to suspect my electrical connections... i would have to say that energizers products are of extremely inferior quality nowadays....

as for tha matter of buying it online ,shipping cost is exorbitantly high it ranges 50 $ plus on standard shipping.. so i think that exercising care with dumb chargers is much better...

what u think ?

i rewound its trransfoemer primary coil and now i dont know how to connect the transformer back in the charger..... earlier i had a pic of it but my memory card got damaged...


so if some one have this charger plaz help take a snap or two to illustrate the connection of transformer with the board.

i rewoundind its transformers primary coil ... and connected it back to the charger according to my best guess[as i forgot which terminal of transformer connects to which node on board]..

now i have charged 4 aa cells simultaneously on it and the lights in charger do comes on showing that it is charging and also those cells are running pretty well in my digital radio for the past few days... however i also charged 4 aaa cells but they drained pretty fast dnt know why ... i used them in torch and the connections pf battery compartment were very rusted probably that should be the cause ,,,but now i m again charging these aaa cells and the voltage accross 2 of them is 1.38 and 1.4 accoss two... they r like 1.38, 1.4, 1.38, 1.4..[at the time of charging] [also my dmm isnt very perfect ..its the cheap quality dmm]


so is it correct voltage for it ? do i need also to check the current accross each cell at the time of charging.. ? [would be a bit difficuilt]

i will also check the voltage at the time of charging accross the aa cells..
