Essential Gear 1W Luxeon Headlamp

Does anyone here own this light?

Price is a bit high, but I really like the fact that it uses CR123's, is very lightweight, battery case is on front, is adjustable up & down, and had 3 brightness settings.

How does the beam look?

I like what I'm hearing about the PT EOS, but if it only used 123s, I'd be all about it.

Anyone on the Essential Gear headlamp?

Essential Gear 1W Luxeon Headlamp looks nice
I have a panasonic-national bf-263 head lamp.
I has a 2 watt nichia led and runs on 2 cr123a
I has 6 power levels and it focouses from a wide spot to a wider difused beam.
it is constructed well but I bet the essential gear lamp is tougher to break.
the panasonic has a nice form factor-it is very compact and
slim compared to a pt matrix 2.
from forehead to end of lens the pt matrix 2 is 3 inches.
the panasonic bf-263 is 2 1/4 inches.

the Essential Gear lamp runs 7 hours on high.
I wonder if it is any brighter than a pt matrix 2 with fresh batteries in both lamps.
I do not think they are driving the led very hard in the Essential Gear lamp.

where did you get the panasonic? Do you have a link? I can't seem to find it.

and I got a reply in english

it is a nice light but I think I would break easy if it was bashed into somthing-not as tough as a pt matrix 2-but a lot brighter with a much nicer beam.
I use mine at home I want to keep it new looking.
I think it cost me 55 bucks shipped.
