So, after days of browsing this forum I've concluded I have to have an EagleTac P20C2MKII. :grin2:
Now before I drop almost a 100 bucks on this light, batteries and a charger. I have a question regarding the RCR123A batteries.
These batteries are 3.7V and this charger says 3.6V. So, this is the correct charger for the those batteries??

"Ultrafire charger for 3 volt or 3.6 volt lithium RCR123 protected or unprotected lithium batteries only. Works on all brands."

Also, the P20C2MKII can handle the extra voltage, right?, I don't see the max voltage listed on the EagleTac website (or I'm possibly looking in the wrong spot).
I apologize for my confusion (another nubie here). Just wanted to ask the pro's before I pull the trigger on this.
Thanks in advance

Upon further searching I have found answers to my questions .
I can't wait to get it!

That charger is fine for those batteries (by the way, good choice getting AW batteries as your first ones). LiIon batteries have a nominal working voltage of 3.6-3.7V; a fully charged one is about 4.2V.

The EagleTac USA site specs for it say explicitly "Two Lithium CR123A batteries (also compatible with one or two Li-ion rechargeables)".

You may want to also pick up a AW protected 17670 battery or two - they should work in that light and give more runtime, and it's easier dealing with a single cell. In this case you should get the WF-139 charger instead of the one you linked, since it will charge both sizes.

If you don't already have some, you should get some regular primary CR123A batteries too, for emergency/backup/camping use in the light. They are a lot cheaper at LH than the local drugstore.

By the way, I see they have this in both XP-E Neutral White, and XP-G R5, which one are you getting?

Thanks cistallus for the reply!

I think I'll take your advise and get the WF-139, having a charger that can do a variety of different sizes will be nice.

Seeing that the WF-139 requires 15mm spacers to work with RCR123A's, can I can use "dummy" cells as spacers? I also see Lighthound sells spacers but is currently sold out.

Went with the XP-G R5 Cool White
:thanks:

Good choice, the XP-G should give you a lot of light.

For make-do spacers, any conductive metal that will bridge the gap will work. If nothing else handy, maybe a stack of dimes? A wad of aluminum foil? Some use [a stack of] magnets but you probably wouldn't have those just sitting around.
