Sorry, all other production is on hold while we gear up for a new light. It will likely be well into winter before bodies are flowing again. In the mean time, we can select a very dark natural C sleeve to go with a striped 50:

Sorry for the confusions. The LLLL replacement is a dropin. The v5 drop already exists and while it can replace all the L's, is not in the same price class. The light described above is more in line with http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?407932. I'll see about developing some teasers!

I'm confused about the L's. I must've missed something in the comments along the way but what is the L, LLL and LLLL thing? I don't recall those terms being used to describe lights or drop-ins in the past.

The L stands for lower output, and lower battery usage resulting in longer run times. Generally speaking, for every L, the lumens are cut in half, as is the resulting draw on the battery, doubling the run time at a fixed lumen output.

I think they stand for low - low low- low low low from the malkoff drop in.

You can get the L variants from Malkoff as well when they are in stock. But not in Nichia, just usually cool white or warm and some neutral tints.
