Eveready 1850 AA Nimh\'s in Mag85
I have a Mag85 using Eveready 1850 AA Nimh's (The kind that use the 30 minute charger)in a EL 3 to D V2 adapter. It's monstrously bright as I'm sure everyone knows by now. My batteries are on their 4th cycle. My first 3 cycles had very short run times. The first 2 were probably less than 5 minutes. The 3rd cycle was probably more like 10 minutes. These are approximate figures that could be off +/- a couple of minutes. Short run times nevertheless.
My obvious question is why am I having such short run times? Can I expect run time to improve with more cycles? Output is great but run-time stinks. I am not experienced with AA Nihm's and would appreciate some insight.
Thank you.
