Eveready Reflex Floting lantern

Pick this up about two years ago during a trip to Home Depot with my four year old. Under $5, reasonably useful output, nice switch and a decent yet throws beam profile. So far I've been really impressed! It's survived two years of toddler abuse without a hiccup. Plus it's still on the first set of 4xD cells (comes woth 2D but works with either 2/4D cells).

For $5 this is a steal of a value... though you won't impress anybody with its style [emoji6]

Question. Any idea what LED this is?

No one can tell exactly - floating lanterns typically have a different type than floting ones.

I have a couple of them.

They are a step below the Energizer Weather Ready Floating Lantern, in terms of ruggedness, but I find the color of the LED is also slightly Warmer.

They do indeed make a good flashlight for a toddler...

Well at least they won't lose it. My 3 year old misplaces our go to bed light at least 3 times a week. It's an hds u60. Thank god for locator flash. Lol
