How well does the Everled run when using 2 NiHM AAs? Anyone use this combo?

I have been using an Everled (white) from the very first time thay were available, an I run it on 2 NIMH cells with great results. The brightest output is with 3 cells, but 2 cells works very well with much more light than using a krypton bulb (2 cells).

Same here. I use it in a diving marker light with 2xNiMh AA cells with excellent results.

Just be careful to keep them charged - the everled will really suck the batteries dry.

It will? How much current does it draw off 2 NiMH AAs? More than 500mA? Even at that rate, I'd get 3.5 hours on my ROV 2000mA IC3s.
