I was thinking of buying an Everled and running it either in one of my 2AA Princeton Tec headlights. Does anyone know what kind of runtime I can expect from the Everled running on two AAs? John

I don't have a 2xAA flashlight with a PR-base bulb receptacle to try an EverLED in. So this test will have to be up to somebody else. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I gave such a setup to a LF for her keychain light. It does NOT get heavy use, but one set of lithium AAs lasted about a year. That's not real specific, but it's a start.

My white one runs 1.75 hrs. regulated in a 2AA sears tool-light on sanyo 1600 Mah nimhs. not sure of the unregulated runtime though.

Re: Everled runtime on 4 AAs?

Has anyone ever done a runtime test with 4AA's? I was thinking of running one in a PT Tec 40. Everybody says it's a good combo and probably the best light to run the EverLED in. How does run time and brightness compare throughout battery life? I was thinking rechargables.
